THE BDI's
The BDI’s began their musical career in the north-western town of
Southport in the mid-nineties as The Panda Gang, and attracted almost
immediate attention from such luminaries as Jimmy Miller (legendary
producer of The Rolling Stones and Traffic).
Fuelled by Miller’s belief in them, together with growing record
company interest, the band relocated to London to launch themselves
onto the capital’s live circuit, also honing their three part harmonies
by busking throughout the West End.
The band’s career took off in 1998 when they released their debut album
‘For A Rainy Day’ in Japan to ecstatic reviews. They were flown over to
Japan where they received a tumultuous reception. By 2007 the band had
completed a brand new 14 track album and having outgrown The Panda Gang
moniker, took the opportunity to rename themselves The BDI's. The
band's second album 'Glorious Return' was released in Japan in August
2009.
UBERMANOEUVRE is a five-piece
electro-rock band from London. Their debut album, Burn This, was
released on Friday 19 February and is available on iTunes and Amazon.
Their sound blends high-energy electro-rock with anthemic and catchy
melodies and has been compared to bands like Rage Against The Machine,
Zebrahead and Enter Shikari.
BAREGROOVE
Originally the band was formed for a one off performance at a mutual
friends wedding and they enjoyed playing together so much, they decided
to form Bare Groove in 2008. Comprising of female lead vocals, guitar,
bass, drums, percussion and a 3/4 piece brass section, they have over
100 years of performing experience between them. They play covers from
The Stones to Dusty Springfield to The Killers, via the Beatles,
Michael Jackson and The Blues Brothers.
