Rehearsal Studios
Creekside have 5 fully equipped air-conditioned rehearsal
studios available at very reasonable rates. Sizes range from
a 784 sq ft showcase studio, with 4 way monitor mixes each
with 31 band eq with stage area, to an intimate 200 sq ft
studio, ideal for programming or small rehearsing bands.
All studios use Beyerdynamic microphone stands, and are supplied
with Shure SM58 or SM57 microphones.
We make every effort to create a relaxed, informal and friendly
atmosphere, but in a professional environment. We supply wireless
broadband internet access as well as a desktop computer with
free internet access to all rehearsing customers. There is
also a TV with freeview for those breaks between songs!
Recording your rehearsal
There are several options for recording your rehearsal. A
Cassette recorder is provided in all rehearsal studios, but
for a small additional charge you can hire a DAT recorder,
minidisk recorder, or CD Writer. Our staff can set up a pair
of room mics for you to record your session, and will connect
the recorder for you so that you are able to playback and
check your recordings in the room.
Accessories
We stock a full compliment of all the necessary musician accessories,
including REMO drum skins, ERNIE BALL guitar strings (electric,
acoustic, and bass), guitar straps, batteries, instrument leads,
and ear plugs. Call or email a member of staff to ask about
our competitive prices.
Our 'tuck' shop provides all the fuel needed for those energetic
rehearsal and recording sessions. We offer a range of hot and
cold drinks (proper tea and filter coffee – no processed
machine granules in sight!), sugar laden snacks, and a range
of very tasty hot pies.
